Description
Kari Wynne has a happy marriage and a job she loves as a Denver TV entertainment reporter. Then an out-of-control truck robs her of her dynamic, wealthy husband, city councilman Thomas Wynne. As if that weren't enough, Acting District Attorney Hunter McKee, investigating council members for misappropriation of funds, uncovers Thomas' extramarital dalliances. So Kari has every reason to hate Hunter McKee, whom she finds overly ambitious, unprincipled and relentless. Still, she can't help but admire his mahogany-colored hair and athletic good looks. And as for his being relentless, Kari discovers just how relentless hunter can be when he decides the one thing he wants more than anything else is her.
