Description
Every couple begins their marriage with the goal of eternal happiness; however, we often run into roadblocks on our way to happily ever after. This presentation, given originally at BYU's annual Family Expo conference, offers practical ideas for achieving marital harmony. Dr. Terrance Olsen, from the Marriage, Family, and Human Development department at BYU says," Married couples often wish they could have more open communication. But what they really deserve is open hearts. I believe that it is possible to not have contention, but it begins in our hearts and not in our words." Dr. Olson then describes a powerful model of "soft heartedness" that couples can use to increase the harmony in their marriages.
